Hello and greetings everyone!
It has been ages since my last update. Busy with study and heavy workload were reason of recent hiatus. Well, I am back people.
I would like to review what has happened in Liverpool FC for the past one month. I know it was kind of too late to comment on it but there is a quote says that "better late than never but never late is better!" ~ :)
Those who are Red fans surely aware what was happened last month especially during the January transfer windows. The most shocking news about the transfer of Spaniard, Fernando Torres to our rival Chelsea and the signing of our two new strikers Luis Suarez from Ajax Armsterdam and Andy Carroll from Newcastle United.
The drama begin when Liverpool try to get Luis Suarez from Ajax to be paired with Fernando Torres. When the deal between Liverpool and Ajax almost done, Chelsea did a shocking bid to get Torres to Stamford Bridge for 30million transfer fee but was rejected by Liverpool. The authority of Liverpool FC said that "Torres is not for sale!". Liverpool's fans seem to be happy with that but the moment of tears come when Torres himself handed a transfer request. After sort of negotiation between Chelsea and Liverpool, Torres sold to Chelsea with 50million transfer fee just a hour before transfer windows closed.
From a legend-wanna-be, he was labeled as traitor. He was criticized by Liverpool fans all over the world and even worst some of them burnt his shirt due to anger. Even Liverpool Legend themselves also upset with Torres decision. For example, the former Reds number 9, who was named as "God" at Anfield, Robbie Fowler also did some protest with his own style. Fowler , taking part in a charity campaign to raise money for victims of the Queensland floods in Australia, said, “There is nothing wrong with the front of the shirt but it’s just the name on the back." During the event, Fowler wear the Torres shirt but with the name at the front. The theme for the event was "Shirt that hurt". Many people expect Fowler to wear the Manchester United or Everton's shirt but surprised when he wear the former number 9.

Following are the interview with Fowler on Torres move to Chelsea.
“With what’s happened this week, it’s a shirt that not only myself but many Liverpool fans would rather not wear just yet.
“He didn’t leave the club in great hands or great shape but thankfully they managed to go out and buy a couple of decent players.
“Only a couple of weeks ago Torres was talking about how much he loved the fans and the club. He won’t be getting a warm welcome next time he plays at Anfield.”
Yes! Torres indeed really hurt his fans, he left Liverpool without any words and later during his first interview with Chelsea, he mentioned that he is now happy that he is playing for a big club. Well, it was unacceptable for Liverpool's fans. If we look at history, Liverpool are far too good compared to Chelsea. Liverpool is the best club in Britain though they were flop during first half of this season but now they are on right track to be on top again since the return of Kenny Dalglish.
More on Torres move, though many were angry with Torres decision, Kenny Dalglish come out with statement that "nobody is bigger than the club". He is too optimist that Liverpool could shining yet again. As a results of Torres leaving, Liverpool has now signed two new strikers, Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez. Both could be the best pair to make goals for Liverpool.
Well, Life must goes on. As Liverpool fan, I myself got hurt as well. But football is all about the team, it cannot depends on one individual alone but teamwork. So, doesn't matter who play for the team, I am Liverpool supporter, now and forever.
Till then, You'll Never Walk Alone.
